We are a small and very creative design firm that specializes in producing lovely, clean and efficient websites, unique artwork, and crisp, clever copywriting for small to medium-sized businesses, artists, start-ups, and the self-employed.

Lauren has been designing web sites since 1998.

She also has a background in fine art, marketing, public relations, copywriting, bookselling and garden design. She has worked for, and with, small, independently-owned businesses for over 20 years and understands the special, customized touch that a small business needs and prefers.

Lauren is a practical perfectionist; she has an astonishing eye for detail and an ardent desire to work efficiently. Anyone that knows her agrees she can get an extraordinary number of things done in a day — and do all of them very well.

Things she does not do well: sing, and play basketball. She leaves these things to the pros.

When she is not busy talking about herself in the third person, she enjoys drawing, encaustic painting, gardening (particularly with blue flowers), soldering silver and reading. She lives in a rambling old farmhouse with her husband, son, three big dogs and an elusive cat.

Lauren holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania, and has continued her education with various classes at the Corcoran School of Art, the Maryland Institute College of Art and the University of Maryland.
